M.A.C Cosmetics are proving to be the brand of choice for New Zealand’s leading fashion designers. Their recent work at the Marr Factory fashion shows, held early this month, and NZ Fashion Week are great examples of why.

INSPIRATION: “A Zambesi graphic eye and an ochre lip inspired by the beautiful fabrics in the collection” – Kiekie Stanners

GET THE LOOK:
FACE: M.A.C Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation applied with a #190 Foundation Brush for perfected skin.
EYES: Fuschia Lipmix with Hi-Def Cyan and Ultra Marine Acrylic Paint to create graphic eyeliner. Applied under the eye with a #266 Small Angle Brush. Studio Finish Concealer to lighten brows. Clear Brow Set.
LIPS: Nothing Sexier Pro Longwear Lip Pencil used to create a diffused lip line. Trend Forecast Spring 16/ Eye in Back in the Swing pressed onto lip and set with Recharge Prep + Prime CC Colour Correcting Loose.

2. Ruby – NZFW

INSPIRATION: “Off Duty-Ballerina”

GET THE LOOK:
FACE: M.A.C Prep + Prime Essential Oils and Strobe Cream massaged into skin with #190 Foundation Brush. Mineralize Moisture SPF 15 Foundation and Studio Finish Concealer for perfected, creamy skin. Golden Prep + Prime BB Beauty Balm Compact SPF 30 to bronze. Bamboo Cream Colour Base applied to cheek with Pearl Cream Colour Base as a highlight.
EYES: M.A.C Vintage Selection Pro Longwear Paint Pot buffed onto the eyelid using a #217 Blending Brush. Bamboo Cream Colour Base buffed through the crease and outer corners of the eye . All that Glitters Eye Shadow pressed on to lid. Clear Brow Set.
LIPS: Lip Conditioner. Up the Amp Lipstick mixed with White Lipmix to create soft lavender colour.

3. Hailwood – NZFW

LIPS: Spice it Up! Lipstick pressed onto lips for enhanced natural colour. Clear Lipglass to finish.

4. Stolen Girlfriends Club – NZFW

INSPIRATION: The Stolen Girl this year is impossibly hot. To die for skin, juicy lips, and a wash of innocence over the eyes, as if she has done her own makeup to fit in with the ‘stolen gang’ – Kiekie Stanners.

EYES: M.A.C Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly buffed on to eyelids with a #217 Blending Brush. Tomato, Tomahto SS16 Trend Forecast Lip as a soft wash over eyelid. Clear Lipglass applied for a gloss finish.
